Renew Your Energy with Trees - Meditation with Trees

I find my refuge in nature anytime I feel overwhelmed or disconnected. Tree means Ag-ac in Turkish, meaning to open or access to web. Trees support us to connect with the universal web. If you are feeling stressed and disconnected, try this simple yet powerful renewal technique to re-energize and re-connect with nature.

Whether you're in a park, forest, or even your own backyard, take some time to appreciate the world around you and all the wonders it holds .

  1. Turn off your mobile devices and find a tree that you feel a connection with. Approach it with respect and take a moment to appreciate its presence in nature. Ask the tree for permission to practice this meditation and for its support in your practice.

  2. Once you feel connected and receive an internal answer, close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to quiet your mind. Allow yourself to tune into the energy of the tree and the natural world around you. You may also want to visualize roots extending from your feet and sinking into the earth, just like the roots of the tree.

  3. Stand with your bare hands touching the trunk of the tree.

  4. Plant both feet firmly on the ground.

  5. Focus on feeling connected to the tree.

  6. Imagine a large conical energy spiral extending from the top of your head and reaching up towards the sky, like the tree's branches reaching towards the sky.

  7. Draw fresh, revitalizing energy from the sky down through the energy spiral and into your body.

  8. Visualize your body as a conduit between the sky and the earth.

  9. Ground the energy by imagining it flowing down through the soles of your feet and into the earth.

  10. See the energy becoming rooted in the earth, just like the tree's roots.

  11. Visualize the energy flowing through your entire system, revitalizing and refreshing it.

  12. Take deep breaths as you focus on the energy flowing through you.

  13. Feel the connection and support of the tree, which can help you to feel more grounded and refreshed.

  14. Finally, take a moment to give thanks and gratitude to the tree and the natural world around you for their support and energy.
